Item Details

  • ESAB® Arcaloy® Plus Stainless Steel Stick Electrode measuring 3/16" X 14" features a heavy coating and produces a concave bead with minimal ripple. The slag formed is virtually self-cleaning. It has low carbon content that helps to prevent carbide precipitation. Electrode is specially designed to weld types 304, 304L, 321 and 347 for corrosion service at temperature up to about 600 deg F. It is ideal for applications where bead appearance is significant and is particularly useful in the food as well as drink industry where a smooth polished surface is needed. The excellent wetting action and very fine ripple reduce crevice corrosion and grinding time. Electrode is associated with E308-17/E308L-17 AWS classification and meets CWB CSA W48, ASME II SFA A5.4 approvals. It comes in a 10 lb hermetically sealed container.
