Item Details

  • ESAB® Arcaloy® Plus Stick Electrode measuring 1/8" X 14" has a heavy coating and produces a concave bead with minimal ripple which is specifically required for 316 and 316L stainless steels welding types. The slag is virtually self-cleaning. Molybdenum increases the resistance to pitting corrosion caused by corrosive media such as sulfuric and sulfurous acids, sulphites, chlorides and cellulose solutions. Application area includes general fabrication, food and beverage, ship/barge buildings, railcars. Electrode is associated with E316L-17 AWS classification and meets ASME II SFA, ASME IX F No. 5 and CWB: CSA W48 approvals. It comes in a 10 lb hermetically sealed can.
