- Stoody® 101HC-G Semi-Automatic Hard Facing MIG Wire of .045" Dia is ideal for applications involving moderate impact as well as heat. Wire comes in 33# spool and is frequently used for applications involving severe metal-to-earth abrasion. It can be used in hot wear applications up to 900 deg F. It is used in crusher teeth, hammers, shovel bucket, teeth adapters, bucket sides and lips and conveyor screws. Wire is composed of iron base and 26% alloy containing chromium, carbon, manganese as well as silicon.
