  • Amerex® 5.5 Pound Regular Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher with wall bracket operates effectively at the temperature range of -65 to 120 deg F. Extinguisher featuring all metal valve construction has anodized aluminum valve body. Dependable drawn steel cylinder extinguisher measuring 15 1/4" X 7 1/4" X 4 1/4" has stored pressure design. Fire extinguisher with large loop pull pin features long lasting high gloss polyester powder paint. It has a discharge range of 12 - 18' and discharge time of 14 sec. It contains a siliconized sodium bicarbonate based dry chemical with free flowing and non-caking additives. Extinguisher offers lower initial cost and recharging to provide economical class B/C protection. Chemical smothers in flammable liquids as well as pressurized gases and does not conduct electricity back to the operator. Extinguisher with bar coded and bi-lingual labels can be easily maintained as well as serviced in an economic way. It is UL listed and complies with NFPA 10 standard.
