- Lincoln Electric® Excalibur® 7018-1 MR® Carbon Steel Electrode measuring 3/32" has square coating burn-off with magnificent arc performance to provide strong welds. It has comfortable slag removal characteristics with minimal spatter to increase operability and a clean weld surface renders easy arc control. It has incredible impact toughness examined to -46 deg C. It renders a splendid clean weld puddle and uniform slag follow making it ideal for easy transport. It has easy strike and re-strike properties that allow it to be used with mild steel, process piping, and pressure vessels, fill and cap pass welding of up to X65 grade, pipe power generation, and petrochemical applications. It comes in a 10 lb easy-open can.
