Item Details

  • Lincoln Electric® Wearshield® 15CrMn 1/8" Dia X 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb cardboard carton and gives resistant against terrible impact/gouging even in a single layer on carbon steel. It renders deposition of premium austenitic chromium manganese and can be used to join hadfield manganese steel to carbon steel or to itself. Crack resistance electrode is ideally designed for all welding positions excluding vertical-down. It gives a high operator appeal by rendering easy restrike with minimum spatter level and unique slag removal design that makes cleaning easier. It is magnificent for developing on carbon steel deposit before chromium carbide hard facing deposit like Wearshield® 60. Electrode comes with preheated unlimited layers with proper interpass temperature ranging 300 to 500 deg F and procedures that avoids cracking. It finds applications in earth moving equipment, manganese plates and parts, crusher hammers, rebuilding and joining of austenitic.
