- Lincoln Electric® Wearshield® Frogmang® 3/16" Dia X 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb hermetic can and is ideal for railroad industry in building up manganese frogs as well as crossing diamonds. High strength electrode can easily handle the enhanced loading of railroad cars by depositing high alloy austenitic manganese that eliminates the need for repeated repairs. 25% Durable electrode provides resistant to deformation as well as metal flow and can be used on hadfield manganese steel as overlay on carbon steel. It gives good operator appeal by rendering slag removal design that makes cleaning easier, low smoke and low spatter level with minimized grinding time after hardening work. Electrode comes with preheated unlimited layers with proper interpass temperatures and procedures. It can be used weld in all welding positions excluding vertical down. It has to be use in accordance with the material safety data sheet.
