ESAB® Arcaloy® Stainless Steel Stick Electrode measuring 5/32" X 14" has a minimum carbon content of .04% and is used for welding base metal for all service temperatures designed for type 309. During the manufacturing process of this electrode, temper, cast, helix and surface finish are closely controlled as the uniformity of these properties is necessary to maximum efficiency of the welding process. Electrode can be used for carbon and low alloy steels as well as stainless steel dissimilar joints. It is associated with E309-16/E309H-16 AWS classification and meets ASME II SFA, ASME IX F No. 5 approvals. It comes in a 10 lb hermetically sealed can.

Post weld heat treatment should only be performed after due consideration
